Kids in America, for the most part, are well educated compared to children in many other parts of the world. Unfortunately, those parts of the world are in third-world countries where the roads are paved with mule crap and the only thing most kids are learning is how to make an Air Jordan or scavenge through piles of trash in muddy streets looking for a crumb of bread or a chicken bone to suck on.
Those kids deserve better, and our kids deserve better than they get too, especially considering the vast wealth this country is blessed with.
IMHO, the problem isn't that we don't spend enough on educating our kids. The problem is that our kids are being used as pawns by powerful organizations with agendas that are dubious at best, although the
epitome of evil might be a more likely description.
They inculcate our youth with doctrines of inclusivism, relativism, and a nearly
complete litany of secular-humanistic precepts. Educating children has become
nothing more than a front for their true goal: to create good future subjects of
the United Nations. The most prevalent among these organizations is the National Education Association or NEA,
an organization that merits a discussion of its own.
I hope everyone will check back on this discussion often, as I intend to
use it to keep the world informed on the kind of work they're doing at the
School City of East Chicago, where my kids go to school. I hope for their sake
that they have a better grip on the task they're charged with than they have in
years past.
