"Transformation, not reformation!"

From the desk of Aok4way

Welcome to This Is An Outrage! Friends, we live in a dangerous world and in perilous times. Under the auspices of the United Nations, global socialism is replacing the democratic society as the ideal system of governance in the minds of many. At the same time, the world's great religions are being displaced by secular humanism in the west and radical Islam in the east - both of which exhibit a strong will to power, and ultimately, destruction. If current global political, economic and religious trends continue, the logical conclusion must be a devastating war of apocalyptic proportions. It will be a war of civilizations, and there will be no such things as civilians or bystanders. You and I and every human on earth will be targets. If we are to avoid this catastrophe, something has to change!

In the past, I've advocated government in the form of Christian theocracy. I reasoned that a government which has as its first priority to please the God who protects and provides for us would be all the safeguard we need against any threat.

Since then, I've concluded that I was in error. The establishment of a theocracy in this or any country doesn't get to the heart of the matter - the human heart. The ancient Jews lived under theocratic rule for thousands of years, yet they were conquered on more than one occasion. Why? Because in spite of the fact that laws were in place to discourage and punish behavior that transgressed God's law, those laws were not honored by the people and, more often than not, by their leaders, who often corrupted or otherwise diminished the application of those laws.

No, the revolution that must take place is an inward revolution, and the change it brings about will happen one person, one human heart at a time, or not at all. We must begin to look beyond the "human rights"  we've enshrined as religion in the U.S. to the wisdom given to us by our Creator in His word. What matters isn't what we think. It's what God knows. He exists in Eternity, present at once in past, present and future. He has been speaking to us from Eternity since He first created us. He has warned us since times long past about what He sees in our future, but we refuse to listen. We long for a world of peace and prosperity, yet we refuse to make the change that could bring that world about - the inward change. We want the world to change while we remain the same! It's an approach that has never worked, and is equally hopeless today. It is exactly the reason that the world is in the precarious position it's in!
